Road cycling package just £315 per person

Serre Chevalier is the perfect base for a road cycling holiday in the French Alps. You can take on part or all of a Tour de France stage, three of which pass through the valley, or challenge yourself on one of the nearby famous mountain climbs. For a more relaxed day there are easier valley and forest routes passing through green valleys and traditional local villages. The variety of route on offer makes it an excellent place to stay for groups and families of mixed ability. Whatever the route, cyclists are surrounded by spectaular mountain scenery some of the best views in the Alps.

Mountain biking

Mountain biking package just £380 per person

During summer the Serre Chevalier valley is transformed into a playground for mountain bikers, with downhill and cross-country trails throughout the valley. Lifts give access to huge mountain descents of over 1,000m and other routes take riders through wild forests and high mountain pastures. See our summer lift passes page for prices. Trails are designated "easy", "medium" or "difficult", providing options for all abilities. Above Villeneuve is a "North Shore" zone mixing wooden bridges and other features with the natural terrain, and there's also a BMX track near the village. Facilities include three bike wash stations along the valley and an information centre with showers in Monetier.
