After welcoming guests to Serre Chevalier since 2011 it's time for our next adventure and Chez Serre Chevalier is no longer in operation. We would like to say a massive "thank you" to our thousands of fabulous customers who made it all worthwhile. Serre Chevalier is a magical place and we are delighted to share here the details of our amazing friends in the valley who supported us in so many ways and make us proud to call Serre Che' our home resort.

Serre Chevalier Locations
Brigitte Pennec has beautiful apartments and chalets in the hamlet of Bez and Villeneuve village for couples to large groups. Our great friends David and Deborah invite you to stay in their beautiful traditional luxury chalet in Villeneuve village. Chalet Valentine is a magical place to spend your holiday in Serre Chevalier with a 6 person hot tub, wood burning fire, gas central heating, satellite T.V., ski storage and free WiFi - sleeps up to 11 people.
Robby and Sharon's chalet in Chantemerle village is just 200m from the lifts and perfect for a group of friends or 2 - 3 families. It has a large dining room and lounge with open fire, fully equipped kitchen, south facing terrace with views of the pistes, garage/games room plus cloakroom with boot and clothes storage and drying - sleeps 9 - 11 people. Chez Bear Ski Lodge
If you're looking for luxury, you'll find it at Chez Bear, where Mike and Helen have created an exclusive ski lodge in a beautifully restored 17th century farmhouse. The fully catered bespoke service is second to none with private chauffeur, hot tub, sauna, open log fire, cinema and games room and private bar. Counting George Clooney among its guests, it really is a chalet fit for a movie star.
Le Serre des Oiseaux
Daniel thought of everything to create the perfect holiday when building this stunning chalet which definitely has the "wow" factor. It's got a sunny south facing garden with lovely views, outdoor jacuzzi, very comfortable bedrooms (many en suite), large dining room and kitchen, wood burning fire in the lounge and garage to store all your kit.
Hotel Plein Sud
Lynne's friendly 3* hotel in Chantemerle village has spectacular views of the slopes and is just a short walk to the main lift area. The hotel rooms are a very good standard and there's an outdoor heated pool which is open during the winter - bathrobes are provided to keep warm before jumping in! After an active day on the slopes Bruno's Bar is a great place to relax with friends before a delicious meal in the restaurant.
La Maison du Bez
In the picturesque hamlet of Bez, adjoining Villenuve village, La Maison du Bez has bags of alpine charm with a warm Swedish welcome from Tina and her team. The lodge-style accommodation ticks all the boxes with ski to door access, a great restaurant serving French / Swedish inspired menus and cosy honesty bar with a log fire. There's space to accommodate large groups, with additional aparments available.
Hotel La Balme Alphand
La Balme is a stylish and friendly 3* hotel run by the Alphand family and located in Chantemerle village, with local shops and restaurants nearby and a short walk to the main lift area. As well as excellently equipped bedrooms it has a light and airy breakfast room and a cosy welcoming bar, perfect to relax in after a day on the slopes - if you're lucky you might bump into local legend and 1997 Alpine Ski World Cup champion Luc Alphand.
Mel has a great range of apartments and chalets in Le Monêtier-les-Bains. A number of the properties have the luxury of a spa and outdoor heated swimming pool, and wherever you stay you can be sure of excellent quality accommodation and super helpful service. Mel can organise any of the extras you might need, including ski and snowboard lessons with New Generation, run by her husband and mountain guru Gavin.
Apartment Printemps 31
Wendy's beautiful duplex chalet apartment in Villeneuve village is a home away from home. It's a stone's throw from the Frejus and Casse de Bœuf lifts and local shops and restaurants are just over the road for some après refreshment or an evening meal. The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen plus T.V., WiFi and ski storage on the ground floor.
Gareth's apartments are in a fantastic position “slope side” in Chantemerle village, just a short walk to the main lift area and only a few metres from the main piste down to the village. The comfortable apartments make a great value option for skiers and snowboarders who want to get on the slopes for a bargain price.
In a converted farmhouse on the outskirts of Briancon, Pippa's lovely apartments can be booked individually or as a whole chalet booking for groups. There's plenty of space in the bright and airy rooms, excellent kitchen facilities and shower rooms and separate drying room. The ski bus stops just down the road, so it's easy to jump on and start your day in whichever of the Serre Chevalier villages takes your fancy.
The Alpine Transfer Company
Emma and her team at The Alpine Transfer Company take the stress out of getting to resort with their transfer service operating from all the main airports and train stations serving Serre Chevalier. Just let them know where and when you'll be arriving and they'll take care of the rest, with their English-speaking drivers whisking you to your accommodation, wherever you're staying in the valley.
James, Julie and family were the inspiration for us starting Chez Serre Chevalier and we couldn't have done it without them. As well as offering brilliant holidays in neighbouring resort Montgenevre, their transfer service is a great way to get to Serre Chevalier. The team runs transfers from Turin airport, which is just 1hr 35mins from Serre Chevalier, and also operate out of Grenoble, Lyon, Chambery and Milan, plus Oulx train station.
With both a ski school and equipment hire shop, Ski Connections is a one-stop-shop where Davina, Olivier and the team will get you up on the hill as quickly as possible. They've got skis to hire for all levels and if you have your own kit there's servicing available too. Online booking discounts are available plus all inclusive packs with equipment, lessons and lift passes.
Located next to the lifts in Chantemerle, Outland is extremely convenient for ski and snowboard hire and has a great range of kit for all levels. Enjoy a cheeky espresso while JC and his team get everything set up, and treat yourself to some new clothes and accessories in the stylish shop. Book in advance online for great discounts.
Zeste Serre Chevalier
Run by passionate local "foodies" Rick and Carol, the Zeste dinner delivery service is available throughout the Serre Chevalier Valley. The delicious food is fresh, wholesome and tasty with no additives or preservatives. Dishes are delivered to you cold and are sealed in containers, ready to be re-heated. There is nothing complicated and all meals come with easy re-heat instructions.
Davina, Olivier and the fantastic Ski Connections team offer small group courses and private coaching for children and adults at all levels. With their flexible and friendly approach you're in great hands to have loads of fun while learning, and their after ski childcare options are a godsend for parents. Equipment hire is also available plus all-inclusive packs, making a one-stop-shop to get you up on the hill.
British run ski school New Generation has an excellent reputation among the International ski community. The team of English speaking instructors, led by BASI examiner Gavin Crosby, know the resort inside out making for an adventure on the mountain every day. The school offers an excellent range of lessons for adults and children including groups, private, technical clinics, skills sessions and off piste.
'Internet sensation' Darren Turner is the most watched ski instructor online thanks to his excellent Ski School App and YouTube videos. By keeping things simple and identifying the keys which are going to unlock your potential, just a couple of hours on the slopes with Darren can take your sking to a whole new level.
